This password field allows students to bypass the use of a webcam for exams using Respondus Monitor.
The Respondus Monitor “optional password” field is supported. Quiz passwords (specified via the “optional password” field in the LockDown Browser Dashboard) aren’t currently supported. Please Note: The LockDown Browser Extension is not available for download by going directly to the Chrome Store. Once an assessment is started, students are locked into it. When students use this browser, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of test delivery in Blackboard.
